Languages: Spanish, English and French
N.B. Many children at CEDEI School have traveled to the U.S. Some may be English-dominant, while most are Spanish-dominant. Books that are high quality fiction and non-fiction, both monolingual and bilingual, and not translations of English children's literature, are preferred.
Inclusiveness: CEDEI School has a high number of special needs children, especially visually-impaired children.
Theme: CEDEI School embraces a school-wide theme of global citizenship. Historical and contemporary fiction and non-fiction representing many world cultures is encouraged.
Ages: pre-K-7; grade 8 will be added 2012-2013. The school has a particular need for literature that is appropriate for middle-school readers.
